Stargazing in the Israeli Desert
Desert skies are great for star gazing, the dark dry and clear air make for near perfect conditions. Add to that our guide's knowledge and some good equipment and you are all set to explore the wonders of space.
We will begin the activity with an introduction to the science of astronomy including a short history and the basics of what space is. Using a powerful laser beam we will point out constellations, planets and more. The depth of the explanation will very much depend on your interest and your questions.
Depending on the conditions such as what is visible on that date, sky clarity and moon light we will use a powerful telescope to explore deep space searching out and explaining the things that we can see.
